province an "Islamic Emirate" and banned women from going outside, according to Eurasia Review and accounts from Yemeni journalists.
As an aside I am appalled at the continued treatment of women in this 15th century sham of a culture but in this case isn't banning women from going outside rather like banning them from a bacon factory? Have you seen pictures of Yemen? Central Nevada looks like a sod farm next to Yemen.
