To a reporter after speaking to a Tea Party event Rubio said:
"He has to lead. These generational issues that our country faces can't
be solved unless the president leads and he doesn't want to lead, he'd
rather get re-elected than solve our problems," (emphasis mine, BBL)
I applaud Rubio for this remark which I believe get to the heart of Obama's ineffectiveness as a policy maker. Obama loves the perks and prestige but has little taste for the actual work and responsibility of his job. The situation is sad really. Obama brings so much gravitas and presentation skill to the office of President of the United States. But what we have discovered is there is no man behind the curtain. There is only the curtain.
